On a Roll!

A seriously overdue update on some previous bakes!

Cinnamon Rolls have been a popular request of late, so here are a few pictures of them as individual rolls, as well as a Cinnamon Roll 'Birthday Cake'. These are Jaffa rolls, stuffed with Candied Citrus peel and shards of Dark Belgian Chocolate (64% cocoa).

I also had a request for Cake Pops. These were a Red Velvet pop, enrobed in Dark Chocolate. I have a soft spot for the rainbow coloured 100s and 1000s Pop. There's just something 'happy' about sprinkles :) it's like edible confetti, and screams "PARTY".

Easter Bakes Etc.

Nothing cheers me up as much as cinnamon-scented sweet bread fresh out of the oven. A spin on the traditional Hot Cross Bun, I made a Cranberry Citrus Peel version  laced with a blend of sweet spices and lacquered with a Citrus glaze. I may just make these year round, too yummy!

Customised Full Moon Cookies for a gorgeous baby girl! I'm currently obsessed with Cinnamon, so it's a Cinnamon Orange cookie decorated with fondant and royal icing.

You Can Never Have Too Much CHOCOLATE! :D

Fortunately Dark Chocolate is good for you! OK,maybe still not quite a health food, but I certainly feel less guilty indulging (yes, I am in denial).

Wow~ I've been so tied up with life that I had completely forgotten to update this site since early December! My bad!

My New House

If only it were possible to live in a Gingerbread House....

As a child, picking out a gingerbread house to bring home was the highlight of the festive season for me (second only to tearing it apart on Xmas morning and inhaling it).

I had a lot of fun creating these Gingerbread Cabins :)
